Observer Activity: See Who’s Keeping Pace in Classrooms
Section titled “Observer Activity: See Who’s Keeping Pace in Classrooms”Keeping classroom observations on track just got a lot easier. The new Observer Activity report gives administrators a single, at-a-glance view of how much observation activity each observer is doing, who is keeping pace, and who may need a nudge.
Why it helps
Section titled “Why it helps”Many districts ask their administrators to get into classrooms regularly, but until now there was no easy way to see, per person, how that effort is actually going. Observer Activity answers exactly that.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”- See every observer in one list, sorted so the people doing the fewest observations rise to the top.
- Set a weekly target and instantly flag anyone falling below it.
- Read each observer’s trend at a glance — picking up, steady, or trailing off — alongside a small weekly activity chart, so you can catch a slowdown early rather than at year’s end.
- Focus on any time frame: the current or previous school year, a semester, a custom date range, or all time.
- Narrow to specific schools or view the whole district.
- Click into any observer to see their individual observations and reach them directly by email.
- Export the full view to CSV for external analysis.
Smart by design
Section titled “Smart by design”There’s no school calendar to set up. The report detects breaks automatically — when the whole district goes quiet for a week, it recognizes that as a closure and leaves that week out of the pace and trend. No one is counted as “behind” for a week school was closed, and a break never makes activity look like a decline.
