Tracking Your Learning Progress

You can monitor your learning progress across all assigned content through multiple views and progress indicators throughout the Learn module.

Viewing Completion Status

Dashboard Overview

Your Learn dashboard provides a comprehensive view of your learning activity:

1. Navigate to Learn from the main menu
2. View the Continue Content section for in-progress items
3. Check the Required Content section for mandatory assignments
4. Review completion status indicators on each content card

Content Status Indicators

Each piece of content displays visual status indicators:

• Green background: Completed content
• Yellow background: Required content
• Red background: Failed assessments
• White background: Not started content
• Orange background: In-progress content

Understanding Progress Indicators

Completion Percentages

For video and interactive content:

• Progress bars show percentage completed
• Video position is automatically tracked every 5 seconds
• Content marked complete when you reach 100%

Assessment Progress

For exams and assessments:

• Attempts: Number of times you've taken the assessment
• Status: Pass, Fail, In Progress, or Not Started
• Score: Your highest or most recent score
• Completion Date: When you finished the assessment

Checking Grades and Scores

Individual Results

To view detailed results for completed assessments:

1. Navigate to the specific assessment
2. Click on your completion status
3. Review:
   • Final score achieved
   • Score needed to pass
   • Number of attempts used
   • Completion date and time

Assessment History

For assessments with multiple attempts:

• Each attempt is tracked separately
• Your highest score is typically used for certification
• Previous attempt scores remain visible in your history

Learning Path Progression

Content Libraries

When working through content libraries:

1. Access your assigned library from the dashboard
2. Use status filters to view:
   • Completed: Finished content
   • Required: Mandatory assignments
   • Not Started: Available content you haven't begun
   • In-Progress: Partially completed content

Sequential Learning

For structured learning paths:

• Complete prerequisite content to unlock subsequent modules
• Progress through chapters and sections in order
• Track overall pathway completion percentage

Required vs Optional Content

Identifying Requirements

Required content is indicated by:

• Red asterisk (*) next to the title
• Yellow background on content cards
• "Required" label in the content description
• Due dates when applicable

Completion Tracking

Your progress dashboard differentiates between:

• Required assignments: Must be completed by specified dates
• Recommended content: Suggested based on your role or interests
• Optional content: Available for additional professional development

Due Date Management

For content with completion deadlines:

• Due dates appear prominently on content cards
• Overdue items may be highlighted in red
• Completion status updates automatically when finished

Progress Reporting

Personal Analytics

You can track your learning metrics through:

• Total content completed
• Hours of professional development earned
• Certificate and credential achievements
• Required vs. optional completion rates

Organizational Requirements

If you're a system_administrator or organization_administrator, you can access broader progress reports to monitor learning across your organization.

Troubleshooting Progress Issues

Content Not Marking Complete

If content isn't updating to complete status:

• Ensure you've reached 100% of video content
• Complete all required sections within interactive content
• Submit final assessments or evaluations
• Check your internet connection during completion

Missing Progress Data

Contact your administrator if:

• Completed content doesn't show as finished
• Scores aren't displaying correctly
• Required content isn't appearing in your assignments
• Progress percentages seem inaccurate
