Proctored Courses and Sessions
Some courses require proctored sessions where a certified proctor supervises your learning and assessment activities. This ensures assessment integrity and meets certification requirements.
Understanding Proctored vs. Self-Paced Courses
Proctored Courses
Proctored courses require supervised sessions and include:
- Live supervision by a certified proctor
- Scheduled sessions with specific start times

- Identity verification during exams
Proctored courses are marked with a proctor icon in your course list.
Self-Paced Courses
Self-paced courses allow you to:
- Start and stop at your convenience
- Take assessments independently
- Access content 24/7
- Progress at your own speed
