  • Detailed breakdown by attempt

Retaking Failed Assessments

You can retake most assessments if you don't achieve a passing score on your first attempt.

Retake Process

  1. Return to the course from My Learning
  2. Navigate to the failed assessment section
  3. Click Retake Assessment or Start Assessment again
  4. Complete the assessment following the same process
  5. Your new score will replace the previous attempt for grading purposes

Retake Policies

  • Most courses allow multiple attempts
  • Some assessments may have attempt limits set by your administrator
  • Your highest score typically counts as your official grade
  • All attempts remain visible in your results history

Proctored Retakes

If your original assessment was proctored, retakes may also require proctoring:

  • Contact your administrator to schedule a proctored retake session
  • You'll receive an enrollment code for the proctored session
  • Complete the assessment during the scheduled proctored time

Assessment Progress Tracking

Completion Status

Your assessment status appears throughout the system:

Not Started: Assessment not yet attempted

In Progress: Assessment started but not completed

Completed - Pass: Assessment completed with passing score
