Assessment Reports

Assessment reports help you analyze learner performance on exams and identify areas for improvement. These reports provide detailed insights into scores, attempt patterns, and question-level performance.

Accessing Assessment Reports

You can access assessment reports through multiple pathways:

  1. Navigate to Learn > Reports > Guided Content Results
  2. Click on a specific guided content enrollment to view detailed results
  3. Use the assessment progress report for in-progress assessments

Note: Reporter role or higher is required to access most reporting features.

Understanding Performance Metrics

Score Interpretation

Assessment scores are displayed as both raw points and percentages:

  • Final Score: The learner's achieved score on their most recent attempt
  • Passing Score: The minimum score required to pass (set by administrators)
  • Best Score: Highest score across all attempts
  • Average Score: Mean performance across the organization

Status Indicators

Reports use color-coded status indicators:

  • Green (Passed): Learner achieved passing score
  • Red (Failed): Score below passing threshold
  • Yellow (In Progress): Assessment started but not completed
  • Gray (Not Started): No attempts recorded

Filtering and Sorting Data

Available Filters

Using Reports for Improvement

Identifying Learning Gaps

Use question analysis reports to find:

  • Questions with low success rates
  • Content areas needing reinforcement
  • Common misconceptions among learners

Tracking Progress Over Time

Monitor learner improvement by:

  • Comparing attempt scores
  • Analyzing time-to-completion trends
  • Identifying learners who may need additional support

Evaluating Assessment Quality

Review assessment effectiveness by examining:

  • Overall pass rates
  • Question difficulty distribution
  • Time spent on different sections
  • Correlation between study time and performance

Proctored Assessment Reports

For proctored assessments, reports include additional information:

  • Proctor Details: Name, job title, and contact information
  • Session Information: Start/end times and session codes
  • Verification Status: Confirmation of supervised completion
  • Security Measures: Any flags or incidents noted

Best Practices

Regular Monitoring

  1. Weekly Reviews: Check in-progress assessments for learners who may need support
  2. Monthly Analysis: Review pass rates and identify improvement opportunities
  3. Quarterly Reporting: Generate comprehensive performance summaries

Data-Driven Decisions

Use assessment reports to:

  • Identify high-performing content for replication
  • Spot struggling learners early for intervention
  • Adjust passing scores based on performance data
  • Plan professional development based on skill gaps

Privacy and Security

Always follow data protection guidelines:

  • Only access reports for learners in your organization
  • Share aggregated data rather than individual results when possible
  • Store exported reports securely
  • Follow district policies for learner data handling
