Learn Reports Overview

You can access comprehensive learning reports to track student progress, completion rates, and assessment performance across your organization. The Learn module provides several report types to help you monitor professional development activities.

Accessing Learn Reports

Role Requirements: reporter, organization_administrator, or system_administrator

  1. Navigate to Reports from the main menu
  2. Select the Learn section
  3. Choose from available report categories

Available Report Types

Guided Content Progress Report

Track learner progress across all courses, videos, assessments, and other guided content.

Key Features:

  • View progress percentages for individual learners
  • Filter by content type, organization, or completion status
  • Export data to CSV or PDF formats
  • Track time spent and completion dates

Use Case: Monitor which teachers have started or completed required professional development courses.

Transcripts Report

Generate comprehensive learning transcripts showing completed certifications and continuing education units.

Key Features:

  • Display all completed content with completion dates
  • Show certificates earned and CEU credits
  • Filter by user, organization, or date range
  • Export individual or bulk transcripts

Use Case: Compile annual professional development records for teacher evaluations or state reporting requirements.

Assessment Progress Report

Monitor performance on assessments, quizzes, and proctored exams.

Key Features:

  • Track pass/fail rates by assessment
  • View attempt history and scores

Required Content Progress

Track completion of mandatory training assignments across your organization.

Report Filtering Options

You can filter most reports using these criteria:

  • Organization: Select specific schools or departments
  • Content Type: Filter by courses, assessments, videos, or PDFs
  • User: Focus on individual learners or groups
  • Date Range: Specify time periods for completion or assignment
  • Status: Filter by completion status (completed, in progress, not started)
  • Categories: Filter by content categories or subjects

Exporting Report Data

Most Learn reports support multiple export formats:

  1. CSV Export: Raw data for further analysis in spreadsheets
  2. PDF Export: Formatted reports for printing or sharing
  3. Individual Transcripts: Single-user completion records

To export a report:

  1. Apply desired filters to narrow your data
  2. Click the Export button
  3. Select your preferred format
  4. You'll receive an email when the export is ready for download

Understanding Report Data

Progress Indicators

  • Not Started: Content assigned but not yet accessed
  • In Progress: Content started but not completed
  • Completed: Content finished successfully
  • Failed: Assessment completed but did not meet passing requirements

Time Tracking

Reports show various time-related data:

  • Assigned Date: When content was assigned to the learner
  • Started Date: When the learner first accessed the content
  • Completion Date: When the content was finished
  • Last Activity: Most recent interaction with the content

Scoring Information

For assessments, reports include:

  • Final Score: The score used for completion (usually the highest)
  • Passing Score: Minimum score required to pass
  • Attempts: Number of times the assessment was taken
  • Status: Pass, fail, or in progress
