Downloading Certificates

You can download digital certificates for courses and assessments you've successfully completed. Certificates are available as PDF files that you can save locally or print.

Identifying Available Certificates

Certificates are automatically generated when you complete qualifying content with a passing score. You'll find certificates available for:

• Completed guided content (courses) that issue certificates
• Passed assessments that award credentials
• Learning paths completed successfully

Downloading Individual Certificates

From the Certificate Modal

1. Navigate to a completed course or assessment
2. Click the Certificate button or link
3. The certificate opens in a modal window as a PDF preview
4. Right-click on the certificate PDF
5. Select Save As or Download from the context menu
6. Choose your download location and save the file

From Your Transcript

1. Go to Learn → My Transcripts
2. Find the completed course or assessment
3. Click the certificate icon or download link
4. The certificate PDF will download automatically

All certificates are provided as PDF files, which ensures:

Saving Certificates Locally

Recommended Organization

Create a folder structure to organize your certificates:

File Naming

Certificates typically download with descriptive filenames that include:

• Course or assessment name
• Completion date
• Your name

Printing Certificates

1. Open the downloaded PDF certificate
2. Click the Print button in the certificate modal or your PDF viewer
3. Select your printer and paper settings
4. Choose high-quality print settings for best results
5. Use standard letter-size (8.5" x 11") paper

Troubleshooting Download Issues

Certificate Not Appearing

If you don't see a certificate option:

• Verify you completed the content successfully
• Check that you achieved the required passing score
• Contact your administrator if certificates should be available

Download Problems

If downloads fail:

• Check your browser's download settings
• Disable pop-up blockers temporarily
• Try a different browser
• Clear your browser cache and cookies

PDF Display Issues

If certificates don't display properly:

• Update your PDF viewer or browser
• Try downloading instead of viewing in-browser
• Check that JavaScript is enabled
• Contact technical support if problems persist

Role Requirements

All users can download their own certificates once earned. System administrators and organization administrators may also download certificates for users they manage for reporting and compliance purposes.
