Downloading and Sharing Certificates
You can download digital certificates for completed courses and assessments to share with employers, licensing boards, or for your professional records.
Accessing Your Certificates
Certificates are automatically generated when you successfully complete courses or pass assessments. You can access them through:
- My Transcripts - View all completed training with certificate links
- Course completion pages - Direct download after finishing content
- Assessment results - Certificate links for passing scores
Certificate Format Options
Your certificates are generated as PDF documents that include:
- Course or assessment name
- Completion date and time
- Your name and information
- Issuing organization details
- Verification information
The PDF format ensures certificates maintain their formatting when printed or shared electronically.
Downloading Certificates
From My Transcripts
- Navigate to My Transcripts from your learning dashboard
- Locate the completed course or assessment
- Click the certificate link or Download Certificate button
- The PDF will open in your browser or download to your device
From Course Completion
- Complete the required course content
- View your completion results
- Click Download Certificate or View Certificate
- Save the PDF to your desired location
From Assessment Results
- Access your assessment results
- Look for the certificate section (appears for passing scores)
- Click Download Certificate
- The certificate PDF will be generated and downloaded
Manual Certificate Input
For training completed outside the system, administrators may need to manually input certificate information:

- Contact your system administrator
- Provide documentation of external training completion
- Administrator will create a manual certificate record
- Certificate will appear in your transcript once processed
Sharing Certificates
Email Sharing
To share certificates via email:
- Download the certificate PDF
- Attach the PDF file to your email
- Include recipient information and context
- Send to employers, licensing boards, or other parties
Print Sharing
To print certificates:
- Open the certificate PDF
- Use your browser's print function or click Print if available
- Select appropriate print settings
- Print on standard 8.5" x 11" paper for best results
Digital Portfolio
You can organize certificates by:
- Creating folders on your computer for different training categories
- Saving certificates with descriptive filenames (course name, date)
- Backing up certificates to cloud storage services
- Maintaining a professional development portfolio
Certificate Verification
Each certificate includes verification information to confirm authenticity:
- Certificate ID: Unique identifier for verification
- Issuing Organization: Organization that provided the training
- Completion Date: When the training was completed
- Contact Information: For verification inquiries
Employers or licensing boards can use this information to verify the legitimacy of your certificates.
Troubleshooting Downloads
If you cannot access or download a certificate:
- Check completion status - Ensure you've fully completed the required content
- Verify passing scores - Assessments may require minimum scores for certification
- Clear browser cache - Refresh the page and try downloading again
- Try different browser - Some browsers handle PDF downloads differently
- Contact support - Reach out to your administrator if issues persist
